Abstracts for posters can still be submitted til September 18!! Any registrations for posters submitted after September 9, however, will be ineligible for consideration for student travel awards

• Students: $25
• Regular Members: $75
• Corporate Members: $300

 Travel Awards

• Travel awards available for 4 selected student or postdoc attendee: $200 

Platform Presentation Awards

• 1st $150 x 2
• 2nd $100 x 2
• 3rd $75 x 2

Poster Presentation Awards

• 1st $100 x 2
• 2nd $75 x 2
• 3rd $50 x 2
• Fan favorite $100 x 2

Award eligibility

Awards are available to presenting students and postdocs (poster or oral presentation) and will be announced at the end of the meeting. Awardees must be present to receive the awards.

Submissions applying for a Meeting Award should have at least one micrographic figure. Please use the Abstract Template and follow the guidelines as described.

Abstract Review

Abstracts are uploaded in the registration form. Unless otherwise indicated by the author, all submissions for platform presentation will be subject to a rigorous peer review. The top three submissions in each category, physical sciences and life sciences, will be selected for platform presentation. All other accepted abstracts will be assigned poster presentations.

• Parking: MTU has allocated parking Lot 30 to attendees. See this map. It is the gravel parking lot.

  The day parking permit is $7 and needs to be purchase via MTU Parking Portal: https://mtuparking.t2hosted.com/cmn/auth.aspx The parking permit also works for the parkmeter spots, but there are only 10 of them near the venue. The other spaces are for staff/faculty. It is recommended to park in Lot 30.
