2025 GLMS Meeting

The 2025 GLMS Meeting, co-hosted by the Michigan Center for Materials Characterization (MC)2, University of Michigan, will take place on October, 7, 2025 . This annual event brings together experts and enthusiasts in microscopy to exchange knowledge, highlight the latest advancements, and connect with peers. The meeting includes platform presentations, poster presentations, vendor talks and exhibits. Highlights include talks from distinguished invited speakers in the physical and life sciences, along with opportunities to win platform awards, poster awards, and student travel awards.

• Students: $25
• Regular Members: $75
• Corporate Members: $200

Travel Award

• Travel award available for 1 selected student or postdoc attendee: $150 

Platform Presentation Awards

• 1st $100 x 2
• 2nd $75 x 2
• 3rd $50 x 2

Poster Presentation Awards

• 1st $75 x 2
• 2nd $50 x 2
• 3rd $25 x 2
• Fan favorite $50 x 2

Awards are available to presenting students and postdocs (poster or oral presentation) and will be announced at the end of the meeting. Awardees must be present to receive the awards.

Life Science: 

• Alice Liang, Director of NYU Langone’s Microscopy Laboratory
• Jotham Austin, Research Associate Professor at University of Chicago
